When fashion month comes around, I usually find myself more interested in what was displayed on the streets than what was presented on the runway. My favorite fashion chameleons give me my bi-annual dose of person style that I find lacking in much of “internet fashion” where there seems to be a misconception that good clothes make good personal style. However personal style is much more than the clothes. I don’t love any of my favorite bloggers, editors, stylists and whoever else because of the items they’re wearing, it’s their overall attitude that makes their style so great not that Celine bag or neons in the fall or coats draped over their shoulders. My favorites range from uniform wearers whose outfits are usually the same combination of items to wild cards who are totally unpredictable and can go from cool girl to sophisticated lady with one outfit change. They keep trends to a minimum and (at the risk of sounding cliché) march to the beat of their own drum.Personal style bloggers take note.
